In 2012 we were forced to reduce the size of our engine to comply with the ammended rules (seems some other drivers thought we were too fast...) The guys at RPE designed a short stroke crank thus reducing the capacity to 1175cc, allowing us to remain  in the 2 litre class. Despite this reduction in capacity we still managed to win all but 2 of the GT races securing outr 3rd Class B championship and breaking our existing lap record in the process, it now stands at 62.9 seconds.
We also won our class in a number of the OSS rounds and only a push into the barrier in the first meeting prevented us from challenging for that title too.

Tilling Motorsport was set up in 2005 and entered a Peugeot 205 GTi in the Castle Combe Saloon Championship.  In 2006 we swapped the Peugeot for a Radical Clubsport and entered the Radical Challenge and the Castle Combe GT Championship. For 2007 we ran a 1500cc Radical Prosport and raced in both the  Radical Challenge and the Castle Combe GT championship. In 2008 we competed in 25 races in a Radical SR3. We ran in the Castle Combe GTs, Radical Clubman Cup, MSVR Sportscars and BESCR. In 2009 with an upgraded 1600cc engine in the SR3 we successfully contested the Castle Combe GT Championship winning both Class B and  the ouright Title. We also entered rounds of the Radical Club Cup setting a new lap record at Castle Combe and The Open Sports Car Series at Snetterton where we had a 3rd overall and Class win in the Archie Scott Brown Trophy race
2010 was another great season for the team. A brand new Radical SR3 RS gave us an outright win at Combe in its first race. This year the BRSCC Open Sportscar Series achieved Championship status and we succeeded in our aim to take the inaugural 2000cc class title. Other highlights of the year included a 3rd in class finish in the Combe Special GT Championship and an outright win in the Radical UK Cup round at Combe where we beat the factory entered SR8s of the Radical works team!
For 2011 we took on a new challenge, working with Radical Performance Engines, to develop a turbocharged version of their superb Hayabusa engine. With their engine expertise and our fabrication skils we created a powerful and reliable package that gave a useable 350 BHP from a 1300cc engine. This was used to devastating effect in the Castle Combe GT championship as the results below show. We took the outright and class A title and smashed the lap record that had stood for 10 years. This is our 3rd championship in 3 years.
